About PROVI

A studio named for foresight

The studio

PROVI comes from providentia, the Latin word for foresight. The same root gives English provisions: what you lay in before the need arrives. Your website is where a stranger lands when they search your name, and it keeps working long after you stop thinking about it. PROVI builds for the business you are heading toward. Templates for anyone who needs one fast, custom work for a brand that wants one nobody else has, and the same design pass behind both.

Bennett Soricelli Founder and designer

I design websites and branding at Dovito Business Solutions, and I run PROVI out of Northern Colorado, local when a client wants to sit down and remote for everyone else. I shipped work for clients before PROVI had a name. This is where that work gets a brand and posted prices. I do the design myself, so when a layout or a piece of motion lands on your site, someone chose it.

Selected work

A concrete crew in central Kansas, a communications consultancy, and an author. Three businesses with nothing in common except that each one needed a stranger to take it seriously inside a few seconds.

Each was designed and written for the one business. The photography, the type, and the way the page moves all come out of what that client sells and who is doing the searching.

Three businesses, three different sites, the same care behind each one.

Where it started

I design websites and branding at Dovito Business Solutions, and PROVI started at that desk. Doing the work inside one company taught me two things. I liked it enough to want more of it, and the going rate outside was a single-prompt build sold at a price nobody had earned.

Three of the builds I worked on from that desk. Dovito’s own site, the Connect platform beside it, and a septic company out in Fallon, Nevada. Design work inside a team, on real deadlines, for clients who had to see something back from it.

PROVI does that work now under its own name.
